Detox, Residential Treatment, & After-Care: How to Pay for It

Detox, Residential Treatment, &Amp; After-Care: How To Pay For It

Are you sick and tired of letting addiction rule your life? You know it’s time to get help, but you don’t have to do it alone. Recovery is a process and can’t be magically fixed overnight, but it is possible to find recovery and afford it. Here’s a guide to three stages of addiction treatment and how to pay for them.

Before you start working on the reasons you’ve been using and drinking, you need to get all the sh*t out of your body. The first step is to detox which typically is more expensive because you’re under 24/7 medical supervision. If you plan on paying for rehab with insurance, the cost of detox will depend on your insurance policy and your deductible. Give us a call and we’ll verify your insurance for you to see what you’re covered for.

Residential Addiction Treatment

Getting clean and sober for good doesn’t mean just getting all the drugs and alcohol out of your body, it means you also need to put in the work to make a better life for yourself — that starts with residential addiction treatment (a.k.a.) rehab. At Transformations Care, after you clear your body of drugs and alcohol, we’ll create a customized treatment plan for you using methods like 12-step groups and music therapy. We’ll give you the tools you need to change your mindset and get a second chance at life. There are many ways to pay for residential addiction treatment including insurance, private pay, payment plans, scholarships, and more.

After-Care & IOP

We won’t lie, sobriety takes work and it’s a choice you make everyday when you wake up. That’s why after residential addiction treatment, we recommend being part of an after-care program or IOP (Intensive outpatient Program) while you’re in early recovery. IOPs offer a continuation of addiction treatment, but you’re not living in the facility. This gives you the opportunity to transition smoothly into your new life in recovery surrounded by life’s triggers rather than throwing yourself back into the world outside of rehab, putting you at risk for relapse. Transformations Care’s IOP offers both daytime and nighttime sessions, so you can form your early recovery routine around work. We also offer alumni recovery group meetings to continue to give you the support you need. How to Pay for Addiction Treatment

Detox typically lasts 5-10 days, but those days are typically more expensive than the day rate of residential treatment. A Residential addiction treatment program lasts between 30-90 days, but the average per-day cost is less expensive than detox. After-care or IOP is the least expensive because you’re only in treatment for about 5 hours a day rather than full time.

In any stage of you getting clean and sober, the cost will differ depending on the facility and how you choose to pay for it. Typically, if you decide to pay with insurance, the cost of rehab is more expensive. The amount of coverage you receive from your insurance provider depends on your benefit plan and your deductible. Give our admissions team a call to verify your benefits.

You can also pay without insurance (also known as private pay) and typically the cost of rehab will be a cheaper rate than when paying with insurance. At Transformations Care, we accept PPO insurance plans, private pay, and more to pay for detox, residential, and after-care. Give us a call at 424.339.0965 to find out how you can get the addiction treatment you deserve and how to afford it.
