A Day in Our Gardena Detox

A Day In Our Gardena Detox - Transformationcare

A grimy motel room. A cold jail cell floor. Strapped to a hospital bed. There are many different places where you can detox from drugs … some more comfortable than others.

Having gotten clean ourselves, and watched so many other people walk the walk, we’re pretty confident that our Gardena detox and residential treatment facility is one of the best places where you could get off drugs and alcohol.

Tucked under a huge, leafy pepper tree on a quiet cul-de-sac, our detox is far away from the madness of the L.A. area, South Bay and O.C.

It actually used to be a family home, and one of our owners even grew up here. You’ll still feel that warm, welcoming family vibe when you enter our doors.

On a typical day, you’ll wake up in your comfortable bed, with sunlight coming through the windows. Take the short walk over to our community kitchen for breakfast in the airy dining area.

Depending on where you are in your recovery process, you might attend a process group, one-on-one counseling, or an art therapy session. During your free time, you could play video games in your room, smoke on our private patio, or grab a guitar off the wall and play around with a tune. You might go to a recovery meeting off site at night.

Through it all, you’ll feel safe, welcome, and supported. Staying at our facility is like crashing at a friend’s place – if that friend happened to be a highly trained medical professional specializing in drug and alcohol addiction treatment.
No two days at Transformations Care are ever really the same. But every day here is better than a day out on the streets, or trying to kick drugs on our own.

If you want to come check us out before making the plunge, just reach out. We can’t wait to welcome you.

Getting Clean Sober At Home 2

GUIDE

Getting Clean & Sober at Home

Today, more than 75% of hospitals and healthcare providers offer access to telehealth treatment, with 29 states having gone so far as to enact telehealth parity laws, which force insurance companies to reimburse patients for telehealth at the same rates as they would for in-person treatment.

If you’ve been thinking about getting clean and sober, or if you’ve been wanting to work on and strengthen the recovery you already have, it’s never been easier to do it through telehealth.
